Fun place to go. They have great flowers for $20 and we love their smoothies. Lots of things to buy here such as clothing, toys, jewelry or electronics. It seems smaller than years past. We went on a Saturday so not sure what their busiest day for vendors is if it's not Saturday.
$3 cash to park and it's definitely worth checking out!
I love the market. The fruit selection is amazing and they offer the option to juice some fruits for you.
I have never bought anything from the actual shops but I know there are a lot
Of options available to everyone. Clothes, fragrances, shoes, even furniture.
This place has changed from years past, but they do have lots of options, and it was great for walking and quick shopping. It was $3 to get in this Saturday and saw a bunch of nice clothes, and they have farmers market. You can buy food to make later it was really good and everyone was really nice
I love the Swap shop! The food is great, STAY AWAY from the food thats inside the building says Spanish/Mexican food ,I got the fried chicken, rice, lo mein noodles and fries. The noodles was horrible, they add some kind of fish sauce not sure but it tasted like a spoiled fish that got caugh going bad in the sun.
It had a VERY strong fowl fish odor.
The rice had no flavor and had funny after taste but The chicken and fries was delcious.
Other then that, They have everything you're looking for.. I have been coming here for years since 1990 and still shopping! Yes, it has changed dramatically over the years. There's a lot more people, Mexicans took over the Swap Shop but that's good business too.
Excellent variety, everything that you can buy without a special permit is available at this venue. Everyday household items, lawn decor, watches, jewelry, clothes, tools, and of course, decorative cutlery as pictured here. All for bargain prices as well. At least some vendors are open at any hour of the day. There's something for everyone, don't miss out.
This place is way different than it used to be. If you have not been here I'm awhile, you'll be surprised at the limited vendors. It's very quiet compared to years past and the farmers market is at least half of what it once was. It's OK for a quick trip to just check it out, but don't plan to make a day of it....do it onbthe way to or from something else.
Overall unpleasant experience. Most of the vendors were selling the same items so there was a lack of diversity, and those repeat items were nothing exciting. Lots of shoes and women's swimsuit cover ups. Also a ridiculous amount of luggage for sale. Prices were decent, so I will give it that but nothing of value. I don't like to describe things like this, but the vibe was just not it. Was so disappointed that we didn't even check out the farmers market section. Also to note, the inside part of Swap Shop was like being in a mall from an apocalyptic movie. Truly an odd place..
Great and cheap price deals and merchandise but 3 stars due to poor customer service, they don't like helping
